On the technical side: in your blogger picture menu, you have the choice of picture size for uploading. I usually choose medium. You might want to check your selection.
On your profile page, there is a spot for a picture that will show in your sidebar.

Thanks, Debra. "Medium" is what I chose--just didn't know how it would look until I uploaded it. I will try a signature picture next.
